Οι φυλλοσκόποι είναι μικρά πουλιά με λεπτό ράμφος και πόδια . Τους βρίσκουμε συνήθως στις κορυφές των δέντρων . Φτιάχνουν τη φωλιά τους όμως στο έδαφος. Τα περισσότερα είδη είναι πρασινωπά στο πάνω μέρος και ανοιχτόχρωμα στην κοιλιά.
Ο δεντροφυλλοσκόπος μοιάζει πολύ με τον θαμνοφυλλοσκόπο. Χαρακτηριστικό του πρώτου που τον ξεχωρίζει τα μαύρα πόδια του. Ο συγκεκριμένος φτεροκοπούσε ασταμάτητα στο πάρκο "Σοφίας Βέμπο" , στη Θεσσαλονίκη.
The Phylloscopus are small birds with slender bill and legs. Often seen on tree tops but they are nesting on ground.Most species are green on the top and buff-white on the belly.

Nice photo! They are really hard to catch when you're digiscoping. Chiffchaff is a really funny name, but not surprising once you heard them sing. :-) It's called Zilpzalp in German, by the way.
"Dentrophylloskopos" in Greek? Tree warbler? OR what does that mean? phyllo means "plant" I guess...
There are 8 phylloscopus in the greek list. The name is phylo = leaf scopos =looking hidden is one of the meaning in the greek language and I think it is correct for this small guys every time hidden in the leafs!
