Looking again in the summer observations I saw in an august observation a Purple Heron. At the time they were flying everywhere over the reeds.

Πορφυροτσικνιάς - Purple Heron
Ξανακοιτάζοντας τις καλοκαιρινές εξορμήσεις έφτασα σε μια αυγουστιάτικη στο Δέλτα του Αξιού.Τότε ακόμη οι πορφυροτσικνιάδες πολυπληθείς γυροπετούσαν πάνω από τους καλαμιώνες.
